Anant Nambiar is the County Legislator representing District 7 on the Westchester County Board of Legislators, covering Harrison, Rye, Rye Neck, Mamaroneck, and Larchmont. He is currently the Chair of the Appointments Committee, and also is a member of the Budget & Appropriations, Infrastructure & Housing, Small Business, and Litigation Committees.

Anant previously served on the Town of Mamaroneck Council, was on the Mamaroneck School Board, and was a senior executive with global financial companies for over 25 years. He is the owner of 12 US Patents and holds an Engineering and MBA degree.

Focusing on what his District residents care about, Anant’s priorities are working on solutions for flooding, affordability especially housing, and quality of life. His proven experience of delivering results in both the public and corporate sectors make him the ideal candidate to represent District 7.
